    President & CEO | James Edward & Companies

    Jim Rubenstein is the President and CEO of James Edward and Companies, Inc., the management company for exclusive Red Bull distributors Matador Distributing, LLC, Viva Distributing LLC and Chaparral Distributing LLC. 

    Jim has more than 30+ years of beverage industry experience working with companies such as Houston Coca-Cola Bottling Company and a distributor of Anheuser Bush.

    In 1994, Jim founded James Edward and Companies, Inc. in Houston, TX as a brokerage company for new age beverages. In March 2000 Jim ventured into the Red Bull Energy Drink distribution industry and since then, James Edward and Companies has become a known leader as an Exclusive Distributor of Red Bull Energy Drink. Our markets stretch from across Texas and throughout Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina. James Edward and Companies, alongside Chaparral, Viva, and Matador Distributing Companies service more than 10,000 retailers

    Jim, with his extensive experience in the beverage distribution industry has developed a solid business practice that together through our partnership with Red Bull North America, James Edward and Companies has grown to levels only imagined and will continue in upward success for years to come. 

  • Sandi B. Worley

    COO & Senior VP | James Edward & Companies

    Sandi Worley joined James Edward and Companies, Inc. as the Director of Organizational Development in September, 2005. Her responsibilities have continued to grow over the past 9 years with her most recent promotion as the COO and Senior VP of Development.

    As the COO, her responsibilities include driving the day-to-day agenda and plan for the company. Sandi provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. Along with her COO role, she will continue to have full responsibility for Human Resources and Development.

    Sandi has over 15 years’ experience in Communications, Employee Development, Talent Acquisition, Health & Welfare Benefits, Human Resources and Operations. Prior to joining James Edward & Companies, she served as Vice President of Recruitment, Marketing and Communications for JP Morgan Chase. Under her strategic direction, JP Morgan Chase’s Career Site was named amongst the “Top 25” of Fortune 500 Companies.

    Sandi’s proven expertise will help lead James Edward and Companies, Inc. towards operational excellence, continued growth and innovation.

  • Randy Caler

    General Manager, Matador Distributing | James Edward & Companies

    Randy Caler joined James Edward and Companies in October of 2017 as the General Manager of Matador Distributing.

    Randy’s beverage experience spans over 25 years. 1 year with Gambrinus (Shiner Brands) in Texas and 24 years with Anheuser-Busch. Randy’s career and work experiences have enabled him to specialize in distributor sales, key national accounts, wholesaler territory management and sales development. During his time with Anheuser-Busch, he worked his way through the ranks holding multiple positions on both the distributor and supplier side for many regions throughout the Eastern United States (including Atlanta). These positions included: Sr. Key Accounts, Director of Sales over Wholesale, along with being the Director of High End over 5 states.

    Randy and his wife Michele have a son, Cayden (age 7), and they are very excited to be back in Atlanta.

  • Noah Bronstein

    Sr. Director Corporate Support | James Edward & Companies

    Noah Bronstein currently serves as James Edward & Companies’ Senior Director – Corporate Support, working closely with each member of the Leadership Team to succeed in our current endeavors.  The Corporate Support Department

    leads all internal objectives related to business insights and analysis, technology maintenance and support, as well as training and development of new and current employees.  In this role, Noah leads a team of direct reports that operates on the values of collaboration, availability, and simplicity.

    Noah joined James Edward & Companies in October 2014, having been brought on board to internally support RBNA’s annual DP Evolution process along with the training and development of our sales teams. Noah graduated from the University of Georgia in 2005, majoring in Consumer Economics (with a minor in attending football games).  After graduation, Noah began his career with MillerCoors, where he would spend the next 8 years moving between various sales and analyst roles. From there, Noah moved to the startup business, FIN Branding Group, where he served as Director of Operations.

    It is Noah’s mix of experience between the corporate and startup business worlds, along with his knowledge of the DSD business model and entrepreneurial spirit that makes him a successful leader at James Edward & Companies.

  • Val Robinson

    Corporate Director of Operations  | James Edward & Companies

    Val Robinson has played an integral role in the advancement and success of Red Bull Energy drink in the Georgia / North Carolina markets. Val was hired during the initial startup of Matador Distributing LLC in April of 2000 as an Account

    Manager over the Northwest Georgia Territory. As the company and brand quickly expanded, he advanced within the organization assuming new areas of responsibility as a District Sales Manager, Team Leader overseeing resets and merchandising, and eventually found his true niche by taking on the role of Operations Manager, overseeing fleet, warehousing, compliance and inventory control.

    In February 2016, he was promoted to Corporate Director of Operationsfor James Edward and Companies. Val will be tasked with further improving JECO’s comprehension of its operational needs and aligning all companies’ (Viva, Chaparral and Matador) operational processes (fleet, product, facilities, etc). I am confident that his proven track record and his hands-on approach will allow him to succeed in this new role.

    I am so excited to see all of the successes that will be accomplished with him leading this critical piece of our organization. With his over 18 years of Beverage distribution experience (beer, wine, spirits and energy), his passion for the business, and expertise, he will help move James Edward & Co. in the right direction as a more cohesive organization.

  • Ram Guzman

    Director of Corp. Development  | James Edward & Companies

    Ramiro “Ram” Guzman has been with Viva Distributing, an exclusive Red Bull distributor for the Western and Southern Texas regions, since January of 2001. He joined James Edward and Companies, Inc. as its Director of Corporate Development in October 2005.

    Ram works closely with the General Managers and other members of the executive team to oversee and manage all aspects of the business. Ram has over 30 years of experience in the beverage industry and has built strong relationships with community and business leaders across the state of Texas. During his tenure as Vice Chairman of the General Services Commission of Texas, a position appointed by then Governor Ann Richards, Guzman developed a strong network of relationships with elected officials at the county, city and state level. Ram is involved in numerous professional and community organizations. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for the El Paso Community Foundation, Hispanic Legislative Caucus and the Southwest Texas University Foundation. He is also a member of the Association of the United States Army, El Paso Restaurant Association and the Hispanic Border Leadership Institute, Kellogg Foundation. Ram, a Texas native, spent three years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged with an army commendation medal.
